Not what we expected - We flew into Astana around 2am and our arranged driver was at the airport to pick us up and take us to our hotel. The problem was that he delivered us to a different hotel and not the one that we had reservations at and it was two times the cost. After a long night, we finally settled in and the next day moved to our hotel. Shockingly, the hotel ate the cost and only charged us the difference for the night (4K tenge). I never expected good customer service in Central Asia - it was a first. Astana was a quick trip but very nice!
